The Bal Vihar provides an opportunity for our children to discover their cultural bond with Bharat and develop pride in their Hindu identity. Hindi language instruction as well as cultural activities promotes both the physical and spiritual well-being of the child. The program is designed to develop volunteer spirit in children, a sense of awareness of our obligations to the society, a sense of belonging to a global family, and to develop leadership qualities. It is open to children 5 years and above. Activities include Hindi class, stories, prayer, inspirational songs, poems, bhajans, plays, crafts, celebration of festivals and indoor games. Passing down language and culture provides children with a strong personal identity and pride in their heritage. It plays an important role in developing thoughts, shaping experiences, exploring customs, and articulating values. Our mother tongue Telugu, with its mellifluous qualities, is called the “Italian of the East”. It expands to suit every form of expression.
SiliconAndhra launched ManaBadi Telugu classes in April 2007, now boasting over 95,000+ students across 250+ locations in the USA and 10+ foreign locations. Over the past 17 years, our program has produced more than 45,000 graduates, reflecting a strong commitment to Telugu language education.
